User Data Deletion
Use this page to request deletion of personal data controlled by AI Geeks. This page can be used as the public User Data Deletion instructions URL for platform reviews and app settings.
1. Summary
AI Geeks does not currently operate a public account system on this website. Still, AI Geeks may control limited personal information from event registration exports, website forms, community operations, messages, attendee lists, photos, videos, or internal contact notes.
You can ask us to delete or anonymize personal information that AI Geeks controls. Some information is controlled by third-party platforms and must be deleted through those platforms directly.
2. How to request deletion
- Send a direct message to @ai.geeks.squad on Instagram or use the contact channel shown on the AI Geeks event registration page you used.
- Use the subject or opening line: User data deletion request.
- Include the name, email address, social handle, or event registration details you used with AI Geeks.
- Tell us which data you want deleted, for example event registration data, a community message, a submitted form entry, a photo/video request, or Meta/Instagram-related data.
- We may ask for reasonable verification so we do not delete or disclose someone else's information by mistake.
3. What we delete or anonymize
After verification, we will delete or anonymize personal information that AI Geeks controls, unless we need to keep it for legal, accounting, safety, dispute, security, fraud prevention, or legitimate archival reasons.
This may include internal contact notes, website form submissions, attendee notes, exported registration records, stored direct messages, or platform-derived identifiers that AI Geeks has retained.
We may keep minimal records showing that a deletion request was received and processed, where needed for compliance and security.
4. Third-party platforms
AI Geeks uses or links to third-party platforms such as Luma, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Discord, Cloudflare, and other event, hosting, social, or communication tools. AI Geeks cannot directly delete data inside accounts controlled by those platforms.
To delete data held by a third-party platform, use that platform's own account, privacy, or support settings. If you are not sure which platform holds the data, include that context in your deletion request and we will help identify the right path where reasonably possible.
5. Timing
We aim to acknowledge deletion requests within a reasonable time and complete verified requests within 30 days where practical. More time may be needed if the request is complex, if verification is incomplete, or if third-party systems are involved.
6. Meta, Facebook, and Instagram data
If you interacted with AI Geeks through Facebook, Instagram, or a Meta integration, you can revoke platform access through your Meta account settings and then submit a deletion request using the steps above.
For Facebook, this is usually done through Settings and privacy, then Settings, then Apps and Websites, where you can remove apps or website connections. For Instagram, use the account privacy, website permissions, or connected experiences settings available in your account.
For platform review: this page is the AI Geeks User Data Deletion instructions URL. It explains how a user can request deletion, what AI Geeks deletes, expected timing, and how third-party platform data is handled.
